Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a General Merchandise Distribution Team member to manage product integrity from receiving through storage to final shipment. You will ensure order accuracy and participate in receiving/shipping for Fresh and Frozen foods, while maintaining quality, temperature, and sanitation standards.

The role emphasizes inventory control, safety accountability, and teamwork, with opportunities for development and scheduling flexibility in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Coordinate with truck drivers and unloaders for receiving and shipping.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards during transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Complete receiving, order, and shipping processes accurately.
• Maintain building sanitation standards.
• Uphold 200% safety accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for complete product integrity during its stay at the distribution center, from the receiving process, through movement and storage within the warehouse, to final store shipment.
