Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member II to support a well‑stocked warehouse and assist Route Service Managers. The role involves delivering batteries regularly and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading batteries, restocking, rotation management, and safe, accurate warehouse reporting. The position requires staying compliant with driver programs and safety rules in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and/or forklift.
• Must have a clean driver’s record and meet driver qualifications requirements.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, and distribution methods.

• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.

• Follow and fulfill all driver program requirements, as specified by the manager.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs without assistance and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
• Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals
• Exposed to the hazards of the road when operating or riding in a vehicle
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
