Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately complete distribution center tasks using RF scanners, forklifts, and WMS applications. You will load/unload batteries, restock, test, date, and rewrap batteries while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and meeting daily shipping goals.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and strong attention to detail, with good communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in warehouse operations preferred, including RF/equipment and forklift.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries and maintain orderly warehouse.
• Charge, clean, date, and rewrap rotations; test and date adjustment batteries.
• Operate a forklift and maintain certification.
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, pack, ship.
• General warehousing duties and reporting; overtime as needed.
