Hog Slat, Inc., the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment, and turn-key construction for the swine & poultry industries, is seeking individuals with warehouse experience to join our Warehousing Team at our distribution center in Clinton, NC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Warehouse team members are generally assigned to either Shipping or Receiving, with opportunities to work in both areas as needed. Responsibilities include:

Receiving

• Identify and verify the quantity and condition of incoming materials and supplies.
• Use powered lift trucks (standing and seated), hand carts, and power jacks to unload, stack, and transport materials for shelving.
• Use barcode labels and scanners to track locations and maintain accurate inventory levels.

Shipping

• Identify and pull items for delivery based on requisitions.
• Transport materials for packaging and shipping using powered lift trucks, hand carts, and power jacks.
• Pack materials for shipment using boxes, banding, shrink wrap, etc.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of power lift experience (sit-down and/or standing); certification preferred.
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. regularly.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication), measurements, weights, etc.
• Comfort working at heights of 10’-12’ with safety equipment such as harnesses and restraints.
• Familiarity with Hog/Poultry industry is helpful.
• Experience with scan gun operations is helpful.
