As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you contribute to your team's success and the daily operations of our warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for lunches and celebrations. At Kuehne+Nagel, our work truly contributes to more than we imagine.

Your responsibilities

1. Coordinate and supervise daily logistics activities to ensure efficient operations in your area.
2. Work Thursday – Monday, 7:30 pm – 4:00 am, with weekly pay at $23.00 per hour.
3. Operate material handling equipment.
4. Lead a team of Warehouse Associates.
5. Foster an inclusive, safe, and valued work environment.
6. Develop and implement processes for efficient warehouse operations and safety.
7. Oversee warehouse housekeeping programs.
8. Maintain accurate inventory control and ensure customer orders are picked and shipped correctly.
9. Follow health and safety policies in accordance with company and OSHA regulations.
10. Be available for overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• Forklift operating experience is a plus.
• Basic technical and math skills.
