Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to train and oversee Package Handlers and Clerks, ensuring safety, productivity, and timely completion of tasks. The role holds teams accountable for attendance and requires accurate submission of timecards.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and communication skills, the ability to multitask, and experience with Microsoft Office. A bachelor’s degree or international equivalent is preferred, along with prior management experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent – preferred.
• Management experience – preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong problem solving skills, with ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Trains and supervises Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and tasks.
• Holds teams accountable for attendance and submits timecards.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Understands UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.
