Job summary

HD Supply operates a distribution center where the candidate will work across multiple departments, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. You will provide guidance and training to warehouse associates and support management with daily operations.

Expected duties include coaching teams on warehousing tasks and equipment, prioritizing workloads, and ensuring accurate data entry in the inventory system, all while maintaining safety

Qualifications

3+ years of experience working across multiple departments in a distribution center.
Experience operating material handling equipment is required.
Experience leading or mentoring others is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coaches and trains warehouse associates on warehousing duties and equipment.
Prioritizes warehousing work to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Operates material handling equipment to load, unload, pick, stock and stage inventory.
Ensures warehousing functions run smoothly and escalates issues as needed.
Verifies and enters product/shipment data into the inventory system.
Maintains clean work areas in line with safety policies.
Completes required paperwork during shifts.
Serves as back-up for all warehousing functions.
