Job summary

UPS is seeking a seasonal supervisor to oversee safety, production, and attendance. The role trains and develops workgroups, maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, and customer service, and fosters collaboration across organizational levels.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 12 PM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, management experience preferred, and the ability to lift 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Able to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment and cross-department cooperation.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Provides orientation, training materials, and proactive coaching to staff.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies at all times.
