Job summary

Roadtex Transportation seeks a Warehouse Team Leader to support the Warehouse Supervisor in guiding a dedicated team through daily operations.

You will oversee workflows, provide performance feedback, ensure equipment is ready, and lead daily safety checks on forklifts, conveyors, and trucks.

Maintaining accurate records and collaborating to improve department effectiveness, you will help ensure quality and on-time deliveries in a temperature-controlled warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• Proven track record in leading a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate team and resolve conflicts
• Organized with understanding of records and inventories

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily workflow and assignments of the assigned team.
• Provides performance feedback on each team member to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Ensures necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
• Leads team in daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks and conveyors.
• Inspects quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.
• Maintains detailed and accurate work records.
• Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.
• Resolves conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
