Ryder System, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead Associate to join our team. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to advance within a busy distribution environment.

You will supervise warehouse activities, lead a small team, and ensure accurate receiving, putaway, and shipping processes using RF scanners and MS Office tools. Previous leadership and warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year team lead experience preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience required or advanced preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Flexible to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and drive continuous improvement for warehouse efficiency.
• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to optimize shift operations.
• Inspire team members to improve KPI performance using leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and equip staff with information and tools.
• Promote health and safety practices in the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Submit daily reports and propose action plans to improve operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
