Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced facility. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to advance within a growing logistics network.

You will lead a team, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety and efficiency. Must have forklift experience, RF scanner proficiency, and strong communication skills. Shift is second shift, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, with a $1.00 shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to team members to ensure optimal shift operations.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations efficacy and service levels.
