Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant Lead in Memphis, TN on first shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, with weekly pay and a strong benefits package. You will manage inbound goods, operate forklifts and Pallet Jacks, and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping in a safe, organized warehouse.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, forklift license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and a WMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; experience with WMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking/packing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Adhere to performance metrics and contract requirements.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $18.00 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
• Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25 - 50 % of the day
• Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and enter orders into a WMS System
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
