Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring temporary sit-down forklift operators in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The roles offer weekly pay, paid training, and avenues for growth within a safety-first environment.

Shifts include 2nd shift from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am with pay details per hour. Selected candidates will operate sit-down forklifts, handle automotive parts, and work in clean, organized facilities focused on safe supply chain processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of related warehouse experience and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance.
• Able to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule on various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay $20.33 per hour
• Overtime Pay $30.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift
• Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
