Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a permanent Warehouse Team Lead in Lafayette, Indiana to join our safety-first supply chain environment. You will lead warehouse operations, supervise a team, and ensure efficient workflows.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, RF scanning, training, and daily KPI-driven improvements, with weekly pay and a strong emphasis on safety and leadership.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• Knowledge with an RF scanner advanced required.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.

Aufgaben

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved KPI performance using leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in providing orientation and necessary information, tools to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment.
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
