Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Lexington, KY, is seeking a motivated leader to manage a fast-paced warehouse team. You will drive client service excellence, supervise hourly staff, and uphold safety while meeting productivity and cost-control targets.

You will coach and develop team members, conduct performance reviews, and partner with operations to optimize processes and lean practices in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change.
• Listening skills and strong ability to collaborate, communicate and motivate others to accomplish goals
• Demonstrated success in problem-solving and decision-making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals
• High school diploma/GED required

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse team environment
• Assist our wide range of clients with the needs and demands of their supply chains
• Ensure acceptable levels of performance in assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost control management
• Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) for assigned area of responsibility
• Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and process improvement
• Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment. Meet or exceed SCLS corporate safety goals
• Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates
• Coach, train, and mentor associates allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop
• Conduct annual performance reviews
