Description

Coleto Brands, parent company of Progress Lighting and Kichler, is looking for a Warehouse Team Lead to join our growing team in Jefferson, GA. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime as needed. We seek a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring others. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to drive results while fostering a positive team atmosphere. Success in this role requires leadership, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, along with the ability to coach and motivate a team in a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and guide team members to meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide real-time feedback and support.
• Enforce compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Use SAP and RF devices to track order progress and ensure timely order picking and fulfillment.
• Process orders in SAP to ensure accuracy and readiness for shipment.
• Ensure all shipments are properly labeled, packed, and secure for transit.
• Participate in daily team huddles, safety meetings, and ongoing training sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace using the 5S methodology.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team and business needs.

Skills and Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume distribution center environment.
• Previous leadership or supportive role experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficiency in operating all types of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), including forklifts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example, build trust, and drive accountability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Adaptable to changing needs, priorities, and deadlines.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
