Ryder System, Inc. in Euclid, Ohio is hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Team Leader to manage daily warehouse operations and lead a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year previous warehouse leadership experience preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• 1+ year previous warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved KPI using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in orienting employees and providing necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $21.74 per hour


• Additional Pay: $1.00 shift premium


• Overtime Pay $32.61 per hour


• Schedule: Wednesday- Saturday 9:00pm-9:30am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred


• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred


• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred


• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred


• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required


• Valid forklift operator's license certified


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Effective leadership skills


• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment


• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
