Job summary

Nissha Medical Technologies in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Trainer/Coordinator to support equipment operation, staffing, and training of manufacturing personnel. You will ensure production orders are executed, maintain training records, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to uphold ISO procedures.

The role emphasizes safety, risk reduction, and continuous improvement, with emphasis on documenting audits, performing quality checks, and guiding others.

Job Description
  • Assist in the operation of equipment as needed based on demand and staffing needs.
  • Coordinate staffing changes as necessary in order to meet production needs.
  • Train and coordinate others to train manufacturing personnel.
  • Assist in the Management of all job-training records.
  • Provide preventative maintenance to equipment as needed and work with maintenance department on repairing equipment of personnel equipment including troubleshooting and problem resolution making recommendations for improvement.
  • Order manufacturing supplies and tooling as needed and ensure production orders are distributed to support production operation. Inspect and validate tooling prior to its use in production.
  • Ensure production schedules have been updated and posted for each machine for each shift.
  • Assist with documentation, implementation, inspection, and training of all pertinent ISO procedures documents.
  • Interpret all shop paper/drawings, resolving any specification issues.
  • Perform quality audits.
  • Assist Management and supervision in the performance management of manufacturing personnel including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead the reduction of risk and injury in the workplace by implementing Nissha Medical Technologies Safety Standards and Policy. This includes but is not limited to generating safety training plans for every employee and ensuring training is delivered; Identifying workplace risks and implementing controls to eliminate or minimize risk; conducting and documenting safety reviews, inspections, and audits: and leading accident investigations to define and implement meaningful corrective and preventive actions.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with experience in machine operation
