Job summary

Nissha Medical Technologies is seeking an experienced press operator to set up and independently operate various press equipment, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety. You will manage all press-related processes and coordinate with teams to meet production targets.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in printing, experience with Flexographic processes, and a GED or high school diploma. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Set up and independently operate press equipment (Mark Andy’s, Flexographic, Delta and Herma) focusing on productivity, quality, safety and housekeeping.
• Manage all processes associated with press operation.
• Perform processing tasks including die cutting, perfing, and punching.
• Handle other printing tasks (rewinding, unwinding, slitting, folding, packaging).
• Review job tickets and verify stock, inks, and dies per specifications.
• Complete required paperwork and quality sign-offs.
• Inspect finished product and adjust as needed for quality.
• Maintain running speeds, tension, and registration of presses.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on printing equipment.
• Communicate with operators, leads and supervisors on production issues and improvements.
• Interpret production paperwork for accurate production and shipment.
• Manage supplies and materials for production on assigned equipment.
• Use measuring instruments accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules including OSHA and ISO.
• Coordinate with maintenance, warehouse, quality and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and independently operate Press Equipment including Mark Andy’s, Flexographic, Delta and Herma, managing the manufacturing processes associated with the assigned equipment with an emphasis on productivity, quality, safety, and good housekeeping
• Manage all processes associated with Press Operation.
• Perform processing tasks including die cutting, perfing (marginal and cross), and punching.
• Perform other tasks associated with the printing process including rewinding, unwinding, slitting, folding (fixed and variable), packaging tasks, etc.
• Review job tickets and verify stock, inks, and dies are available and used as specified.
• Complete required paperwork and quality sign offs.
• Inspect finished product for any imperfections or irregularities making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain running speeds, tension, and registration, of presses while checking for quality.
• Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance tasks on printing equipment
• Communicate with Press Operators, Team Leads, and Supervisors on production issues, needs, and recommendations to improve production effectiveness and efficiency, including safety recommendations.

Requirements

• GED or High School diploma.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in printing
• Experience with Flexographic.

Nissha Medical Technologies is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $25-$30/hour plus a $2.50/hour shift differential. The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
