Position Overview

As part of the talented Mercury team, you will be part of the Plant 103 Parts & Accessories Global Distribution Center. You will be considered a seasonal temporary worker on 2nd Shift during peak season and will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, and kitting functions. You will ensure a safe work environment, adhere to standards for production and quality, and follow company policies and expectations.

  • Receiving product through a Manhattan Warehouse Management System.
  • Picking and packaging of parts and accessories for shipping.
  • Understanding how to read process sheets, manufacturing instruction sheets, or other job-related documentation.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by complying with JSAs, SOPs, Work Rules, and safety rules.
  • Prompt reporting of quality and safety issues to management.
  • Daily and regular attendance/punctuality is required.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Physical ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform these tasks, as specified in the working conditions section.
  • Availability to work on all shifts including Saturdays as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read process sheets, bills of material, and follow standardized work instructions.
  • Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate and comprehend information with supervision and work associates.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in distribution or logistics environment (preferred).
Working Conditions

  • Lift/carry up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Stand for 8 hours/day, walk, and perform repetitive movements like twisting, bending, climbing, grasping.
  • Operate/drive PIT equipment, including reach truck, pallet jack, etc., as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment within warehouse and distribution areas.
Pay Range & Benefits

The anticipated pay is $21-$23/hour, with actual pay depending on experience and location. Position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, 401k (up to 4% match), HSA, well-being programs, discounts, and more.
