Ryder System, Inc. in Newnan, GA is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Tasker to join our distribution team. The role offers hourly pay of $19.00 with a $0.50 sift differential and a safe, state-of-the-art work environment.

You'll handle foods with reach truck, forklift, clamp, and electric pallet jack, supporting U.S. distribution. We provide on-the-job training, comprehensive benefits from day one, a 401(k) with company match, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior warehouse or clerical experience recommended.
• Experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with clerks from other floor areas, customers, and suppliers as needed.
• Use the location's WMS system to update area metrics as required.
• Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports and summaries.
• Handle floor work and perform related duties as assigned.
• Perform basic administrative tasks and maintain filing systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift. Maintains filing systems and documents.
• Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support.
• Coordinatesactivities/meetings/communicationfor the specific area or shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or if location specific.
