Ryder is immediately hiring Temp to Hire Warehouse Associate in Whitestown, Indiana.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $18.24 per hour
• Overtime Pay $27.36 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift 6:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday OT as Needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months of related warehouse experience required
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks, such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, including maintenance and recognizing mechanical issues (intermediate required)
• May need to operate manual or automated warehouse equipment (intermediate preferred)
• Powered industrial truck certification
• Ability to read and perform basic mathematics in English for safety and work instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to input data into WMS systems
• Work overtime as assigned
• Ability to develop professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and self-drive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multi-tasking, organization, and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up

Responsibilities

• Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials
• Load and unload trailers, ensure correct scanning, and assist in training dock employees
• Ensure facility security, resolve scanning issues, and perform housekeeping
• Perform picking and packing duties, check for product damage
• Handle materials according to policies and procedures
• Perform material moves and participate in team activities for improvement
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned
