Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate in Lorton, Virginia.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

  • Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
  • Overtime Pay: $31.50 per hour
  • Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 10:00 am - 8:30 pm

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of related warehouse experience required
  • One year or more related warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks), including maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Powered industrial truck certification
  • Basic reading and math skills in English for safety and work instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to input data into WMS systems
  • Work overtime as assigned
  • Ability to build professional relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Flexibility and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and good follow-up practices
Responsibilities
  • Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials
  • Load and unload trailers, ensure accurate scanning, and assist in training dock employees
  • Perform picking, packing, and quality checks for damages
  • Handle materials according to policies and procedures
  • Participate in team activities for continuous improvement
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace
  • Perform other duties as assigned
