Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead an hourly workforce in one of our distribution centers. This full-time, entry-level leadership role focuses on motivating, mentoring and developing a team on the production floor, while maintaining safety, quality and performance.

The role covers order selection, payroll oversight, and cross-department coordination, with a clear path for career growth within a dynamic warehouse network.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with completed requirements between May 2025 and December 2026.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Currently enrolled in or graduated in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate order selection and replenishment to meet production and delivery needs.
  • Hire, train, and develop selection and replenishment personnel; coach and evaluate staff.
  • Oversee quality, safety, and compliance in warehouse operations.
  • Manage payroll and timekeeping for shift personnel; complete required reports.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.

Job description

This is not a corporate, remote, or office-based position. This is a full-time, entry level position located within one of Johnson Brothers distribution centers. Johnson Brothers is seeking customer focused individuals to lead a team of hourly employees in our operations network! Our warehouses are dynamic environments where standing, walking, and having on-the-production floor conversations are common as a leader. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for engaging, leading, and developing your team in a warehouse environment. Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring, and managing your team to meet goals. As a people manager, you will ensure that your team has all the tools needed to succeed and maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance at work.

Job Description:
  • Order Selection & Replenishment Schedule and coordinate order selection and replenishment activities according to production and delivery requirements. Ensure all orders are selected accurately and replenishments are completed on time.
  • Personnel Management Hire, train, and develop selection and replenishment personnel. Manage, coach, and evaluate employees to ensure performance and compliance with company standards. Foster a positive and safe work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.
  • Operations & Quality Control Maintain established quality standards for order selection and warehouse operations. Oversee loading and unloading of products to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Coordinate with other departments to resolve operational issues.
  • Safety & Compliance Enforce and maintain all safety policies and procedures for the shift. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all incidents are properly reported and addressed.
  • Administrative & Payroll Oversight Manage timekeeping and payroll for shift personnel, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Additional Duties Perform other warehouse duties and projects as assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2025 and December 2026.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

The expected pay range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data.
