Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience working in shipping and receiving.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in ISO 9001:2008/2015 a plus.
• Familiar with warehouse management systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Exercise good judgment and react quickly in emergency situations.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew conducting multiple functions in multiple areas of the warehouse, such as orders, BOLs, tally sheets, scheduling pickups, ensuring accuracy of orders and they are shipped and delivered in a timely manner.
• Supervise loading and verify all outbound shipments and all receiving functions.
• Communicate with all levels of management, as well as our customers via email or phone conversations in a clear and professional manner.
• Direct the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies are communicated, applied and enforced (i.e. operational, safety, administrative, etc.).
• Follow all ISO procedures.
