Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA in Minnesota is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide branch warehouse personnel in the Shipping Department. The role centers on order selection, shipping functions, and maintaining safe work processes in daily operations.

You will supervise team members, ensure timely order assembly, uphold company policies, and collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to drive productivity and quality improvements. Strong 1–3 year warehousing experience and AS400/Excel proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years warehousing experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 60-75 lbs occasionally; work up to 26 feet high with safety equipment.
• Proficient with AS400 and MS Excel; strong planning and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills; self-starter with good multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in timely and accurate assembly of customer orders for shipment.
• Provide a professional environment with fellow team members, other departments and external customers.
• Direct daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Improve productivity by enhancing processes and department efficiencies.
• Communicate and enforce company policies (operational, safety, administrative).
• Support Warehouse Manager by evaluating performance variances to identify root causes and corrective actions.
