Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage in Indiana is seeking a Warehouse Manager to plan, assign and direct activity in our cold storage facility. You will supervise a team, set performance goals, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead by example, develop staff, communicate company goals, and collaborate with other departments to maintain cold-chain standards and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years warehouse management experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong leadership, with focus on guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of a team of warehouse employees, including assigning work, setting and attaining performance goals, and managing performance in accordance with policies.
• Lead by example with integrity and company values while operating in a fast-paced cold storage environment.

Position Overview and Purpose

This role plans, assigns, and directs activity within our cold storage facility in a safe and orderly fashion. This role will also be primarily responsible for the selection, training and retention of our warehouse team.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

Direct supervision of a team of warehouse employees, including assigning work, setting and attaining performance goals, and managing performance in accordance with organizational policies and operating standards.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent required. Relevant advanced degree preferred.

4 years warehouse management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Strong leadership skills, with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning.

Ability to solve problems and present information effectively to customers, clients, and employees.

Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.

Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time (warm gear provided by company).
