Job summary

UPS in Michigan is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead safety, production and attendance, and set high standards for accuracy and customer service. You will build strong relationships across teams and with customers while guiding daily operations.

You will train staff, implement development plans, ensure compliance with safety policies, manage resources for maximum output, and foster a positive, collaborative, proactive culture in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Management experience - Preferred.
• Employee Type: Permanent.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed in all operations, in compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and inter-departmental cooperation.
• Implements employee development plans to support professional growth.
• Ensures orientation, training, and ongoing safety coaching for staff.
