Job summary

TW Metals, LLC. in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, train employees on safety, equipment and processes, and ensure accurate inventory control.

You will schedule assignments and overtime, plan storage layouts, review records, and trace item histories to resolve stock discrepancies. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related industry experience or training.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn mainframe program Metalware.
• Start time 7am–8am with an 8-hour day.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to solve problems with a few concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on safety, equipment and processes.
• Schedule assignments and overtime as needed.
• Plan warehouse layout considering turnover, size and weight of items stored.
• Review records for accuracy and stock level adequacy.
• Trace item history to resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
• Determine work procedures and expedite workflow.
• Issue written and oral instructions.
• Assign duties and inspect work for accuracy and compliance.
• Foster harmony and resolve grievances among staff.
• Investigate and correct errors.
