Job summary

PACCAR Parts in Renton, WA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead distribution center personnel and coordinate all warehouse functions. You will supervise labor plans, recruit and develop staff, and drive continuous improvement projects to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or engineering, plus distribution or manufacturing experience and at least two years of leadership.

• Build a motivated team and sponsor Key-Op program participants with support from the Assistant Distribution Center Manager
• Assist in coordination of on-site training/support with current network Supervisors and Associates
• Develop and implement continuous improvement projects and manage through change; maintain Standard Work Instructions
• Build relationships with dealers and vendors to improve service levels; participate in special assignments and travel as needed

Requisition Summary

TheWarehouse Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of warehouse personnel. In addition, they will coordinate all distribution center functions and perform continuous improvement projects to attain high safety, production and quality standards.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Manage labor/equipment plans for a given functional area assuring key production objectives are met with world-class safety, quality, productivity and customer service.
• Direct management of Distribution Associates including recruiting, hiring, training and development. Responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of performance appraisals. Provides effective coaching and feedback on a regular basis to direct reports.
• Build a motivated, effective team and initiate personnel actions, including promotions, and sponsor Key-Op program participants with support from the Assistant Distribution Center Manager.
• Assist in coordination of on-site training/support with current network Supervisors and Associates that aligns with facility setup needs and employee onboarding needs.
• Work with team to develop and implement continuous improvement projects and effectively manage through change. Maintain Standard Work Instructions for processes.
• Build positive relationships with dealers as well as vendors to improve the overall service level for our customers.
• Participate in special assignments/projects; available for travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business, logistics, engineering field or related area required. Master's degree desired.
• Distribution or manufacturing experience required. Engineering / Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• 2 years of leadership experience, PACCAR expierence preferred.
• Demonstrated abilities in leadership, problem solving, and change management.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Intermediate to advanced PC skills required: Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Salary Range

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $80,800 - $111,650 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
