Job summary

Wholesale Produce Supply, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a fast-paced, overnight team responsible for receiving, storing, picking bulk produce, and loading outbound freight. The role requires leadership, safety compliance, and hands-on supervision to meet delivery targets and maintain inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other related software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work evening shifts and occasional weekends as required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide a team of warehouse employees during the shift.
  • Oversee and monitor day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
  • Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify product received against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
  • Work closely with Quality team to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and improve operational efficiency.
  • Train and develop employees on proper handling, storing, and shipping of products.
  • Enforce workplace health and safety guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with other department supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve operational issues.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and adherence to established standards.
  • Monitor productivity and performance metrics to achieve department goals and targets.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggest process enhancements, and assist in implementing best practices.
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and support to team members to foster professional growth and development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Warehouse Supervisor maintains the smooth operation of a fast-moving environment. Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and leadership of people within the warehouse function, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuring that staff comply with health, safety, and standard operating procedures. Overseeing a team that is picking bulk fresh produce and the loading of outbound freight. Must be willing to work overnights.

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9pm to 6am or sooner depending on workload.

Essential Job Functions
