Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead and support a small Pick & Pack team, ensuring all orders are accurately pulled, packed, and shipped while maintaining high quality standards. This role involves managing inventory accuracy, overseeing cycle counts, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The candidate will also be responsible for a mix of administrative and hands-on warehouse duties.

Note: Candidates must reside in the Western New York area, as this position is based out of our Niagara Falls, NY warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data entry - receive, track, and allocate material into inventory or other warehouse locations
  2. Inspect inbound shipments for damage and/or missing material
  3. Pick, pack, label, and verify material for outbound shipments
  4. Answer phone calls, emails, and respond in a timely manner regarding shipments, carrier pricing, transfers, and sales team
  5. Use online portals for data entry, courier shipping labels, Bill of Lading (UPS-worldship, FedEx, other LTL carriers)
  6. Sort incoming RMA’s and work with RMA dept to create invoices/send to Head Office
  7. Communicate discrepancies to appropriate locations and departments
  8. Ensure work environment is clean, trash cans are emptied, trash liners replaced, work areas and bathrooms are swept, soap and paper towels are refilled
  9. Assist with receiving, packaging, and shipping
  10. Perform and oversee cycle counts, report on overstock, shortages, damaged or missing goods
  11. Report claims/damaged or missing material promptly
  12. Oversee employee timekeeping
  13. Report any Health & Safety issues
  14. Operate power jacks, pallet jacks, scales, dock plates used in daily stock movement

Requirements & Skills:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  3. 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or distribution
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities under pressure
  6. Attention to detail and high quality standards
  7. Ability to stand for long periods
  8. Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
  9. Ability to reach, kneel, and bend to handle items
  10. Reside in Western NY area
