Job description

The Warehouse Supervisor is a key member of the leadership team responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including labor management, shipping and receiving, inventory management, quality assurance, and safety.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  1. Manage the efficient operation of the Outbound/Inbound team, driving key initiatives such as Productivity, Quality, and Safety.
  2. Develop and implement a daily scorecard to track and communicate key business metrics and expectations.
  3. Metrics to include, but not limited to: pieces handled per day, OSHA recordable rate, shipment times, zero ships, damages.
  4. Train, coach, and support 10-15 warehouse operators to meet key initiatives and scorecard metrics.
  5. Define roles and responsibilities to ensure high standards of quality in all work performed.
  6. Drive results through motivation and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  7. Maintain a safe warehouse environment by adhering to policies, procedures, and good practices.
  8. Address complaints and resolve problems efficiently.
  9. Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years management/warehouse operations experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to train, supervise, and motivate team members.
  • Ability to set high expectations and hold others accountable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
