UNFI, the leading grocery distributor in North America, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise a fast-paced team, and ensure accurate inventory and efficient shipping/receiving. The role emphasizes safety, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should have an Associate degree or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience, with strong leadership, problem-solving, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• Three+ years of progressive related experience.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing and inventory procedures and policies.
• Understanding of required computer applications.
• Familiarity with courier and mailing functions.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising the shipping/receiving functions of all outgoing/incoming products from the warehouse
• Provides direction and proper motivation to leads and line employees to ensure the daily workload is completed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Maintains a positive presence on the floor throughout the shift.
• Supervises all warehouse functions.
• Completes appropriate paperwork and reports as required
• Provides new hire and follow- up training for all employees
• Performs job evaluations and communicates results to employees
• Evaluates work performance of personnel regarding promotions, absenteeism, commendations, and disciplinary action

What does it mean to be a part of our Warehouse Supervisor team?

Our Warehouse Supervisor team oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that goods are stored, handled, and dispatched efficiently. They are responsible for leading and motivating a fast-paced team, optimizing processes, maintaining safety standards, ensuring inventory accuracy, and utilizing WMS systems for reporting and order management. This role involves coordinating with other departments, overseeing shipping, and receiving activities, and implementing strategies for inventory control. Warehouse Supervisors also ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements. Pay & Schedule:

• Base Salary + Quarterly Bonus Opportunity
• UNFI offers a 4 day Schedule, Saturday off

Job Responsibilities:

• Safety regulations and procedures and followed
• Professional business relations exist with suppliers, vendors, outside contacts and internal departments
• Management is appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems

Job Requirements:

Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Three or more years of progressive related experience
