Job summary

Acme Tools in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our fast-paced team and ensure efficient warehouse operations. This role handles daily supervision, training, scheduling, and performance management to meet client needs and company goals.

You will drive safety, accuracy, and timely fulfillment while fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring high standards of quality. Experience in warehouse leadership and forklift operation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse operations and/or leadership experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Must have prompt and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Training, appraising, and supervising warehouse employees
• Managing day-to-day operations (reviewing daily productivity reports, participating in department interviews, training new employees, employee relations discussions, terminations, creating cost budgets and profitability within the department, and receiving, organizing, picking, packing, stocking, and shipping items sold by Acme Tools)
• Planning and coordinating schedules for Warehouse Associates to optimize productivity and ensure goals are being met
• Managing and driving positive customer experiences
• Ensuring Warehouse Associates are being held accountable for the quality of their work
• Ensuring packages are received and stocked in a timely manner
• Helping maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safety
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
• Helping perform all duties of a Warehouse Associate
• Completing related tasks as assigned
