Job summary

Stone Mountain Access Systems in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, scheduling, and coordination of personnel, equipment, and shop activities. This full-time, in-person role ensures resources meet project needs while maintaining productivity and safety.

You will supervise staff, train workers, and collaborate with branch management, customers, vendors, and other departments to meet performance targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse or related operations experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Forklift experience required; Class B license may be required; OSHA/Scaffold certifications preferred.
• English literacy; Spanish preferred; ability to interpret safety rules, blueprints, and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, coach, and schedule warehouse/shop personnel based on customer, project, and business needs.
• Ensure employees are properly trained and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
• Coordinate staffing, equipment, and resources with branch management to meet project requirements.
• Manage warehouse receiving and verify pick tickets and pickup documentation for accuracy.
• Oversee rental equipment and customer repair programs for quality and timely completion.
• Maintain inventory levels of repair parts, supplies, tools, and equipment; handle purchasing as needed.
• Coordinate cycle counts and annual physical inventories with branch management.
• Schedule and manage repairs and maintenance of company tools and branch vehicles.
• Coordinate and track building and grounds repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, employees, and management to support satisfaction and objectives.

Job description

Responsible for the daily supervision, scheduling, and coordination of warehouse personnel, rental equipment, labor, and shop operations. This full-time, in-person role ensures equipment and resources are available to meet customer and project needs while maintaining productivity, schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, and a safe and efficient warehouse environment. The position leads and develops warehouse personnel while working closely with branch management, customers, vendors, and other departments.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: 5+ years of warehouse or related operations experience, including supervisory responsibility; construction industry experience required
• Licensure & Certifications: Forklift experience required; driver’s license preferred; some positions may require a Class B license; Scaffold and OSHA certifications preferred
• Skills & Competencies: Ability to speak, read, and write English; Spanish preferred; ability to interpret safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, schematics, and procedures; math proficiency including fractions and decimals; proficient in MS Office, Internet, and Windows
• Core Qualities: Leadership, Problem Solving, Customer/Client Focus, Decision Making, Project Management, Communication, Teamwork, Technical Capacity, Organization, Attention to Detail, Prioritization, and the ability to coach and develop employees
• Physical & Environmental Demands: Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday, reach above shoulder height and below the waist, and lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques; work is performed in a warehouse/shop and office environment with moderate noise levels

• Manage warehouse receiving and verify pick tickets and pickup documentation for accuracy and proper approval
• Manage rental equipment and customer repair programs to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely completion
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of repair parts, supplies, tools, and equipment, including purchasing and procurement as necessary
• Coordinate cycle counts and annual physical inventories with branch management
• Schedule and manage repairs and maintenance of company tools and branch vehicles
• Coordinate and track required building and grounds repairs and maintenance
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, employees, and management while supporting customer satisfaction and operational objectives

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday through Friday, first shift, 40 hours per week
• Hours & Flexibility: Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as business demands dictate
• Travel: Overnight travel is not typically required; occasional local travel may be necessary
