Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor II. You will coordinate with staff to manage ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, displaying and shipping, and oversee supplies, tools, equipment and parts in the warehouse and/or sales floor.

The role requires supervisory experience and warehouse background, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year supervisory or management experience.
• 2 years' warehouse experience.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record preferred.
• PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Monitor workload priorities and direct movement of all products to meet customer needs.
• Coach, train, hire and support staff. Provide regular feedback and recognition. Hold staff accountable for fulfilling their key responsibilities and goals satisfactorily.
• Develop agendas, conduct monthly staff meetings, control expenses/turnover and meet goals.
• Apply the attendance policy to scheduled training events just as it is applied to regular work schedules.
• Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and immediately correct inappropriate operating behaviors.
• Perform duties of supervised staff to assist in meeting deadlines and/or to fill in when short staffed
