Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor I to join our team. The role supervises daily warehouse operations, directs staff, and ensures accurate shipping documentation.

The position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a Bachelor’s in Operations Management or Logistics, and experience in warehousing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Three years supervisory experience in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises daily execution of route and transport trucks at a warehouse facility.
  • Provides day-to-day direction to warehouse employees.
  • Completes shipping and handling documentation for shipments.
  • Performs inventory reconciliation.
  • Loads orders accurately and timely.
  • Oversees all warehouse operations, safety, and staffing across shifts (24/7).
  • Travels up to 10% may be required.

Warehouse Supervisor I Role Overview

Supervises the daily execution of route and transport trucks for a warehouse facility. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Provides day-to-day direction to warehouse employees. Completes shipping and handling documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments. Performs inventory reconciliation. Performs housekeeping duties. Ensures the team is adequately staffed, managed and trained. Loads orders in an accurate, timely manner. Provides timely service to sales department while minimizing warehouse and production costs Maintains performance tracking information. Oversees all operations in the warehouse (less than 1,500,000 cases of annual sales that are loaded by the facility) including, but not limited to; Sales Loading, Transport Loading, all inventories and Facility Safety and Security across all shifts and all days (24/7). Responsible for Food and Safety where applicable. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or related field is preferred. Three (3) years supervisory experience in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing preferred. SAP experience preferred. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to supervise and provide training to direct reports. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. Must have attention to detail. Must have good math skills. Must be able to perform data entry and analysis. Must be able to multi-task and handle stressful situations. Must be familiar with computers (e.g. data entry, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point). Must be familiar with material handling equipment (MHE, e.g. forklifts, walkie-riders, pallet jacks). Must have basic working knowledge of iPhone/iPad/tablet devices. Must have basic working knowledge of iPhone/iPad/tablet devices? Must be able to perform manual work when required, e.g. building and wrapping pallets, loading trucks, etc. Must work long hours during summer months as well as some weekends and holidays. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. Must be able to travel 10%.
