Job summary

Cavalier Logistics, Inc. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Supervisor to plan, organize and direct the warehouse team.

You will supervise receiving, record keeping for additions and deletions, and the preparation of product for shipment according to specifications. With the Station Manager you will coordinate daily activities, maintain safety, schedules and SOP compliance, and ensure equipment is properly used.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
• Experience using designated software programs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet stackers and pallet jacks.
• Must live within a 35-mile radius of the job location.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff.
• Coach, train and develop employees and motivate and counsel staff when needed.
• Ensure that proper processes and procedures are being followed.
• Be responsible for proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure warehouse staff have safe, efficient equipment to perform duties.
• Advise employees on the safe and proper methods of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining and shipping.
• Ensure maintenance of records and reports on productivity, quality and attendance.
• Minimize errors and develop positive working environment.
• Prepare work schedules, expedite workflow and assign specific duties to staff.
• Review work for accuracy, neatness, timeliness and conformance to policies and procedures.

Job description

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will use their knowledge and experience to plan, organize and direct the warehouse team. You will supervise the performance of the team in receiving, proper record keeping for additions and deletions, preparation of product for shipment according to specifications, transportation of material internally and assure team members are executing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Along with the Station Manager you will be responsible for the daily activities of the warehouse team to include overall warehouse organization and scheduling of personnel.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Must be able to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet stackers and pallet jacks
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment subject to moderate deviations in temperature, moving machinery and low levels of noise
• Must pass drug test and background check
• Must live within a 35-mileradius of job location

Education:
