Warehouse Supervisor/Delivery Driver (Oklahoma City, OK)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Plan, schedule, and coordinate warehouse activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion.
  2. Supervise maintenance and repairs of warehouse equipment.
  3. Maximize equipment utilization based on fertilizer orders to maintain maximum efficiency.
  4. Maintain, manage, and organize finished load inventory; order, coordinate delivery, and receive raw materials.
  5. Coordinate schedule and timing of warehouse based on the daily loading schedule.
  6. Supervise all warehouse operations such as machining, processing, and assembly.
  7. Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local ordinances affecting this position.
  8. Ensure compliance with all Company policies and programs.
  9. Maintain valid driver’s license and forklift certification and/or permits required to perform responsibilities.
  10. Ensure timely processing of system information and proper documentation concerning inventory transactions (shipments, transfers, receipts, changes in cost/price, etc.).
  11. Make local deliveries using company vehicle when required.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Associates degree in related field preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Three to five years of warehouse experience required.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a current and valid Class A or Class B CDL driver’s license (site specific as appropriate).
  • Must maintain valid medical certification.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Complete knowledge of production scheduling and plant operations.
  • Extremely organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in computer and phone use, including typing, writing, and grasping.
  • Mobility to reach and manipulate small objects.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to internal and external conditions, including weather, dust, and noise.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

  • Steel-toed boots required; safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, back brace, and safety attire recommended and provided upon request.

This is a full-time position.
