Qualifications

Job Purpose: Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, supervise warehouse operations, communicate shift transitions, manage staff including performance reviews and disciplinary actions, and oversee computer and paperwork processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assign work to 2nd shift warehouse staff, considering customer specifications and delivery schedules.
  2. Oversee inbound/outbound freight loading per customer specs.
  3. Supervise drivers, communicate updates and workflow changes.
  4. Review deliveries for quality, alert relevant personnel of issues.
  5. Manage shipment paperwork, including scanning BOLs.
  6. Verify shipment accuracy against paperwork for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  7. Monitor shipment quality and adherence to customer specifications.
  8. Update customer requirements and train staff accordingly.
  9. Maintain Tee Card board and TMW system updates.
  10. Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries.
  11. Coordinate shift handovers via email for smooth workflow transition.
  12. Ensure safety, training, and development per OSHA and company policies.
  13. Oversee data entry accuracy and efficiency.
  14. Manage employee timesheets, overtime, and payroll corrections.
  15. Perform daily building checks, report issues, and assist with maintenance.
  16. Ensure compliance with AIB processes and handle food products appropriately.
  17. Complete safety checklists, issue corrective actions.
  18. Handle accident reporting and emergency procedures.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Dispatch and dock supervision experience.
  • Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software is a plus.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch.
  • Knowledge of DOT Regulations and Requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
