Warren Oil Company, Inc., a leading automotive lubricant manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our West Memphis, AR facility. We desire a driven individual with strong manufacturing expertise and a record of continuous improvement.
Warehouse Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and promote a safe working environment and OSHA compliance.
- Foster a continuous improvement manufacturing environment; recommend improvements for production methods, equipment, and working conditions.
- Participate in and lead problem-solving activities such as accident investigations and quality concerns.
- Lead the manufacturing team to meet schedules and exceed customer expectations.
- Encourage innovation, continuous learning, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Assist employees in meeting value stream, departmental, and scorecard goals.
- Ensure schedules are met and drive work order performance.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts, analyze root causes, and implement inventory accuracy solutions.
- Reduce past due items, scrap, rework, and overtime costs while maintaining quality.
- Improve on-time delivery, labor utilization, and productivity.
- Perform process checks and monitor performance to establish standard work and pacing.
- Train, evaluate, coach, and develop staff to improve performance and skills.
- Maintain policies to meet operational requirements and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Promote positive employee relations, monitor performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisor Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse manufacturing environment.
- At least 3 years of OTC and personal care bulk manufacturing experience.
- Experience as a trainer for equipment and procedures.
- Ability to climb ladders and work under machines as needed.
- Knowledge of production scheduling.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize tasks in a high-volume setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Project and inventory systems preferred.
- Flexible working hours required.
