Job summary

East Coast C.E.S. Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Elizabeth, NJ facility. The role leads all warehouse associates, ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to SOPs.

You will supervise, train, and motivate staff; monitor productivity; and prioritize daily workloads to meet service goals. The job requires lifting up to 50 pounds and a commitment to deadlines. Full-time, on-site, 65k-75k salary.

Qualifications

PC skills including Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret general business information.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task regularly.
Strong sense of urgency and time management to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Supervise all associates reporting to the position to recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate, and monitor activities and safety.
Monitor and coach associates on productivity pace and methods; provide feedback.
Facilitate workflow improvements by evaluating systems interactions and SOP adherence.
Plan and prioritize daily workload to meet productivity standards and service goals.
Act as safety officer and report unsafe acts or accidents.
Prioritize unloading/loading of containers per business needs.
Update statuses of containers and coordinate dock flow and yard moves.
Address concerns from the warehouse team and resolve issues.

This job requires occasional standing, sitting, and walking. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Temperature can range in the warehouse is between 30-65 degrees Fahrenheit
