Job summary

KCC is seeking a warehouse supervisor in Louisville to lead and coach Team Members across Receiving, Shipping, and Warehouse operations. You will champion safety, 5S, and continuous improvement while ensuring productive, accurate inventory workflows.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 5+ years of supervisory experience (Bachelor’s preferred). You’ll develop staffing plans, drive inventory turns, and collaborate across departments to meet business objectives.

• Ability to lead and train teams in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and communicate with Team Members and Team Leaders across Warehouse, Shipping, and Receiving operations.
• Analyze, understand, and continuously improve warehouse processes and workflows.
• Effectively manage and resolve Team Member conflicts while fostering a positive work environment.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and inventory management.
• Maintain and enhance 5S standards throughout the facility to support operational excellence.
• Manage and replenish 5S supply inventory to ensure resources are readily available.
• Drive inventory performance with a target of 98% inventory accuracy and 12 inventory turns annually.
• Develop workforce and staffing plans based on time study data and operational requirements.
• Utilize time study data to balance labor resources and workflow demands effectively.
• Lead and support abnormal production planning activities to minimize operational disruptions.
• Provide leadership support and operational coverage in areas outside of direct responsibility as required.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments to support business objectives.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions as required by job duties.

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment requiring standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the facility for extended periods.

Position Type/ Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position working 8 hours per day with possible overtime.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of supervisory experience.
