Job summary

KCC Companies is an ESOP-driven HVAC design, manufacturing, installation, and service provider headquartered in Louisville, KY. The Logistics Associate - Grassland Location role supports warehouse activities essential to production and service delivery.

Under supervision, you will pull and stage materials, manage inventory records, and operate warehouse equipment. The position requires basic math, forklift experience, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Proficient understanding of basic math functions.
• At least 6 months experience operating a forklift or reach truck.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Working knowledge of MRP or ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts from pick tickets and stage materials for production.
• Maintain computerized inventory records and track product movement; perform cycle counts.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.).
• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed.
• Communicate discrepancies to Warehouse Lead.
• Collaborate with team to achieve goals and objectives.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed by Warehouse Lead.
• Operate/drive box truck for parts transport; may require MVR, DOT and defensive driving training.

Summary:

Under Warehouse Leads direction pick and stage materials for production, record inventory movement transactions using bar code scanners,maintainingcomputerized inventory control and confirm inventory levels and accuracy through cycle counts

Essential Functions:

• Accurately pull parts from pick tickets andstagesmaterials for production.
• Accurately maintain computerized inventory control records over product movement from one location to another.
• Safelyoperatevarious pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers, Forkliftsetc).
• Assistin physicalinventoriesand cycle counting as directed.
• Communicate issuesregardingpart discrepancies to the Warehouse Lead.
• Activelyparticipateas a member of the team to move the team toward completion of goals.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as may be directed bythe WarehouseLead.
• Operates/Drives box truck for parts transport and pickup (WillrequireMVR-Motor Vehicle Record check, DOT Physical, and Defensive Driver Class)
• Performsadditionalduties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

Require:

• GED or High School Diploma.

• At least 6 months experienceoperatinga forklift or reach truck.
• Possess strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Working knowledge of MRP or ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs, Excel,Wordand Outlook
• Ability to beflexibleto adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
• Mustpass background check and drug test

Prefer:

• At least one year of warehouse experiencepreferred.

Safety/Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Requires bending, stooping, and standing.
• Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day. (Overtime may extendtimeperiod.)
• Good visual and spatial perception.
• Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.
• Forklift and Crane Operation (after training)
