JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage, and other supply chain management services, including consulting, purchase order coordination, and customized management solutions.

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse activities and personnel, ensuring smooth operations, accurate shipments, and safety compliance.

Hours/Schedule

Wednesday to Friday: 1PM to 10PM
Saturday: 8AM to 5PM
Sunday: 4AM to 1PM

Essential Functions

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, schedules, and staff training.
• Maintain high customer service standards.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed for personnel and inventory.
• Verify shipping records, address shortages or overages, and communicate issues with management.
• Assign housekeeping responsibilities to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Operate forklifts and perform manual labor as needed.
• Manage loading dock activities and mechanized equipment use.
• Adhere to safety rules, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise 1 or more employees directly or indirectly.
• Resolve personnel issues and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Warehouse Operations.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to work the scheduled hours.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Safety-oriented mindset with a good safety record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years warehouse supervisory experience.
• Experience with WMS platforms and hazardous materials handling preferred.

Work Environment

Warehouse setting with normal conditions. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

Physical Requirements

Regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch; lift up to 50 lbs.
