Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift - River

Role Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including labor management, shipping and receiving, inventory control, quality assurance, and safety.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the outbound/inbound teams to ensure efficient operations, focusing on productivity, quality, and safety.
2. Develop and utilize a daily scorecard to monitor key performance indicators such as pieces handled, OSHA recordable rate, shipment times, zero ships, and damages.
3. Train, coach, and support 20-30 warehouse operators to achieve key metrics and operational goals.
4. Define roles and responsibilities to maintain high standards of quality and performance.
5. Motivate staff and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary to meet business objectives.
6. Maintain a safe warehouse environment by adhering to policies and good practices.
7. Address and resolve operational issues and complaints promptly.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.
• At least 4 years of management or warehouse operations experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to train, supervise, and motivate teams.
• Ability to set high expectations and hold team members accountable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
