Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas in Faribault, MN, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor on 2nd shift to lead shipping and receiving operations and ensure exceptional customer support. You will develop procedures for handling, packing, labeling, and verifying materials, assign daily tasks, manage temp staff, and train team members on policies and compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments to improve warehouse efficiency and service to Daikin customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving and customer service/purchasing to ensure quality customer support
• Develop, maintain, and execute procedures for the handling, packaging, labeling, shipping, and receiving of materials
• Assign daily job responsibilities to shipping and receiving staff based on resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes
• Schedule temporary employees as needed based upon availability of resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes
• Train and monitor shipping/receiving staff in areas of job functions, company policies, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving and other departments to improve the warehouse’s ability to service Daikin customers
• Develop improvements in warehouse policies and procedures to promoted increased business profitability, customer support, and employee well being
• Work with other groups within the Daikin parts organization as needed to resolve problems within the business
• Administer company policies as needed
• Other duties as assigned

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $108,800 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
