Axcelis Technologies is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Beverly, MA. Lead a team responsible for receiving, inventory control, material movement, picking, and shipping to support manufacturing and customer commitments.

You will ensure material availability, drive safety and productivity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize flow. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and adoption of automation technologies on a modern warehouse floor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field; equivalent combination considered.
  • 2-5 years in warehouse ops with at least 1 year in leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, material movement, picking and shipping.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems and MS Excel.
  • Ability to lead a team across shifts and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise 2nd shift warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, material movement, and shipping.
  • Develop and coach a team of warehouse associates to maintain safety, productivity, and engagement.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and transacting into inventory with accuracy.
  • Oversee timely picking and delivery of materials to production and other areas.
  • Ensure finished goods packaging and shipping meet specifications and schedules.
  • Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics to optimize material flow.
  • Implement and improve warehouse methods, processes, and procedures.
  • Monitor metrics and maintain documentation of department performance.
  • Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Support adoption of warehouse automation technologies including AMRs and advanced systems.

As our **Warehouse Supervisor (2nd Shift)**, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing these operations, developing employees, and driving continuous improvement in a modern, technology-enabled environment. **Position Summary** The Warehouse Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for driving the performance, safety, and efficiency of second-shift warehouse operations. This role oversees a team supporting receiving, inventory management, material movement, order fulfillment, picking, and shipping activities that directly impact manufacturing operations and customer delivery commitments.The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills with operational excellence to ensure inventory accuracy, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across the warehouse operation.**Key Responsibilities*** Supervise and coordinate second-shift warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material movement, and shipping.* Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates responsible for supporting manufacturing operations and customer shipments while maintaining a safe, productive, and engaged work environment.* Ensure incoming materials are accurately received, inspected, and transacted into inventory while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with company requirements.* Lead the timely picking and delivery of materials to production and other operational areas, ensuring the right materials are available at the right place and time.* Ensure finished goods are packaged according to specifications and shipped accurately and on schedule to meet customer commitments.* Ensure material availability to support production schedules and manufacturing requirements.* Partner with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to resolve issues and optimize material flow.* Establish, implement, and continuously improve warehouse methods, processes, and procedures.* Monitor warehouse performance metrics and maintain documentation reflecting departmental effectiveness and efficiency.* Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate warehouse employees to ensure a high-performing and engaged team.* Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.* Support the adoption and effective utilization of warehouse automation technologies, including AMRs and advanced material handling systems.* Identify opportunities to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and service levels. ## **Qualifications** ### **Required Education & Experience*** 2 - 5 years of professional experience with a minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse operations* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. ### **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities*** Demonstrated ability to drive safety, productivity, quality, and customer service objectives.* Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, shipping, and material handling practices.* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across multiple shifts and cross-functional teams to support business and production goals.* Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.* Experience with automation, robotics, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. ## **Why Axcelis?** At Axcelis, you'll join a company that is helping shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing while working in a highly automated, technology-driven logistics environment.
