Job summary

City Brewery is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team in Irwindale, CA. This position will oversee shift operations for two warehouses, central receiving, ingredient inventory, and storage, supervising up to 4 coordinators and about 25 forklift operators per shift.

Weekend coverage is a must and shifts vary to provide relief coverage. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 2 years of warehouse and supervisory experience, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing (Required).
• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience, preferably within a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure the accurate and efficient flow of all palletizers, transfers, shipments, inbound supplies and trucks.
• Supervise the daily inventory, storage and movement of all packaging materials and finished product.
• Count, balance, and check proper tagging procedures for all hold product vs. hold report. Monitor and control daily hold adjustments.
• Serve as direct contact for Quality Department.
• File and track all hold dumping/sorting/repacking documents per TTB regulations.
• Supervise employee training, coaching and discipline.
• Schedule replacement coverage for call-ins.
• Supervise all scanning, WMS functions, meters versus receipts and various reports.
• Ensure proper operations of all on board forklift scanners, radios, cradles and WMS equipment.
• Record all daily forklift inspection reports.
• Enforce policies to stay within internal, federal, state and local regulations. Responsible for compliance of GMP, Fire codes, insurance guidelines, sanitation, pest control, safety, OSHA, FDA, DMV and TTB.
• Support the Packaging, Customer Service, Brewing, Accounting, Purchasing and Quality Assurance departments as needed.
